The sardine is one of the most typical and tasty fish seafood cuisine.
The sardine pilchardus (also called Sprat or Xouba), is an oily fish living in temperate waters of the Atlantic. Lives in large schools along the coast and Galician coast, where he is captured by the traditional art of siege. In our factory Camariñas carefully selected specimens received during the months of June to September are the months when sardine shows a higher rate of fat (and therefore of Omega 3), which accentuates the flavor, aroma and texture. For processing by hand, use traditional techniques saved our canning tradition (since 1884), which have incorporated strict sanitary control, certified ISO-9001. The manufacturing process is "old", all natural and without the use of artificial preservatives. Also, packaging, is done in a totally manual process, as was done for 130 years. This product has been designed specifically to encourage their use for all types of people including those who have difficulty handling objects, be it due to limited vision or manipulation.
