Tasting
When it's been a year of bottling time is confirming this crop as one of the best if not the best of the decade.
Wine profile but mainly Mediterranean notes "atlanticidad" that give a unique and complex character.
A view shows dark cherry stain, very bright, with slight hints of purple when the meniscus away from the cup. This information is sufficient to prepare to taste a wine with some structure, excellent acidity and, for a young 2010, a promising future because there is not the slightest hint of evolution.
In still glass we see very defined and dominant black and red fruit (blackberry, currant, wild plum). Move the cup and begin to unfold fine leathers mixed with fruit. In the background, and only accompaniment, select spices oak, yet distinguishable unfold, but close conjunction with wine. By order of dominance impresses us black pepper, caramel, toast, vanilla, clove ...
The entrance is the highlight of this vintage: juicy, meaty, dominant, large, mineral, structured, elegant ... the qualifiers are finished. Yet it is in a nascent stage of integration, we find slight tannic rounded appendages short term.
The experienced taster sees great wine that will be enjoyed over and in the path to maturity.
