Red Wine 200 Monges Reserva is a wine produced by the winery Vinícola Real de la Rioja Designation of Origin.
This wine is the result of the selection of three grape varieties. 85% Tempranillo, Garnacha Graciano 10% and 5% grapes harvested manually in boxes of 15 kg. Depending on the year precede a partial or complete stripping depending on the need.
Fermented in wooden vats "Allier" in 11 days at a temperature between 24º and 28º C in the presence of the skins around 25 days, obtaining fine tannins leading to a long-lived resistance of color in our range of wines.
This wine has been traced three times daily and clarified with periodic rackings. Aged for a minimum of 20 months in new French oak barrels, from various sources and American, it remains a while at rest in tank until bottling back where it will remain, depending on the vintage, at least 16 months in our bottle before being marketed.
It is advisable to uncork and decant 30 to 45 minutes before, to appreciate its full aromatic and full potential. It is bottled in the absence of any type of filtration.
