In 1918 he decided to create a winery.
Joan Rubio i Bellver, disciple of the famous architect Gaudi designed what would be the first building constructed with reinforced concrete in Spain and soon scored "cathedral of wine" for its harmonious structure of arcades and the atmosphere that was created under them. In 1988 the new winery was built. The manager was the architect Domingo Triay who commanded to build removing thousands of tons of earth to descalzar a hill and dig in the ground that she was freed. In this immense space, and low grade, aging ships would be located. On the surface the other facilities were erected. This was subsequently coated with the same land before removed, so that the hill was reconstructed to its original appearance. The land covers was planted with Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard.
