Joan Sarda is a family winery dedicated to the production and aging of wines and champagnes.
Our story began in 1927 when Thomas Sarda, a farmer who cultivated his own vineyards, was a surplus of wine after a good harvest and began to sell in the city of Barcelona. His son John was able to open an important market distributing directly to restaurants. The third generation, Joan and Antoni, both oenologists, consolidated the company, increased the surface area of vineyards and built a new winery internationalizing the family business. The vineyards, primarily located in the Central Penedès are indigenous and international varieties. The technique wine has made significant advances in recent years and this allows us to develop better products every year.
